Velvet Devore Burnout Chiffon Fabric is extremely popular. It is lightweight and comes in an array of colours and designs, it needs to be lined as it is semi-transparent. You could make a standout dress if you are a keen dressmaker.
This Fabric usually does not fray very much and is easy to handle. Cut the fabric one way. The great news is this fabric does not shrink or crease. Drapes beautifully. Avoid deep hems you would also want to avoid facings that will show through the correct side of the fabric.
You would want to use a warm iron rather than a hot iron, wash by hand and drip dry.
A metre is £16.75. If you are unsure about the colours, print or want to feel the fabric please buy a sample which is only £1.50 to avoid disappointment. Stocks are limited so make sure you don't miss out!
