Heavy 100% wool worsted in a warm brown with a woven herringbone stripe. The broad bands of herringbone give a subtle tonal texture that catches the light, and the fine, even twill gives it a crisp, smooth handle. Woven in England.
The weight and body make it well suited to tailoring, including jackets, waistcoats, trousers, skirts and coats. It presses cleanly, holds its shape and sews beautifully.
The fabric has a neat cream woven selvedge edged in brown, a mark of quality cloth.
